Michelin North America’s Scott Clark Elected to USTMA Board of Directors

January 19, 2018

The U.S. Tire Manufacturers Association (USTMA) announced it has elected Scott Clark, Chairman and President of Michelin North America, to the USTMA Board of Directors. Clark replaces Pete Selleck, who retired from Michelin in December.

“We are very pleased to welcome Scott to the USTMA Board of Directors,” said Anne Forristall Luke, USTMA president and CEO. “His deep and diverse experience with Michelin in the U.S. and abroad will bring unique perspectives to our Board and we look forward to his input and engagement.”

Clark assumed the top leadership role at Michelin North America on January 1, 2018. Prior to this position, Clark served since 2007 as executive vice president of Michelin North America and chief operating officer of its passenger- and light-truck tire unit spanning the United States, Canada and Mexico. Previously, he served from 2005 to 2007 as senior vice president of Michelin’s heavy-truck tire unit in Asia. Across his 21-year tenure with Michelin, Clark has held leadership roles in marketing, sales and other functions for units in Europe, Asia and North America. Earlier in his career, Clark worked for the Ralston Purina Company (now Nestle Purina PetCare).

Clark currently serves on the board of Jones Naturals, a pet products company based in Rockford, Ill. He has served previously on the boards of the Greenville Symphony Orchestra and American Heart Association. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from Washington University in St. Louis.
